Builders Team just finished our new 2 bedrooms one bathroom loft conversion. We are very impressed with the quality of work, great communication skills, and professionalism of traders that worked in the house. Work was done on the agreed time and in a professional matter. What impressed must be professionalism from builders they not only done job fast but also give us recommendations for specific detail for example tiling from they personal work experience that made end result even better. We are very happy that we chose the Builders team for our loft conversion and would recommend them to everyone that looking for a professional fest and less stressful service. Builders Team was engaged to demolish the old extension on our Victorian terrace house and build a new, larger extension. They submitted a reasonably priced tender and were well recommended. Throughout the project, over six months, they worked consistently hard, were reliable, communicated well, and executed every element of the project with great attention to detail and quality. I can certainly recommend them. Ramas and his team did a great job building an additional floor on top of a Victorian terrace house, and completely remodeling the existing floor which included installing two bathrooms and a kitchen. The communication was always good and challenges, when they arose during the build, were dealt with to our satisfaction. True to their word they came back six months after the build was completed to repair/repaint some settlement blemishes. Overall very happy with the work and people that we dealt with. Ramas and his team were excellent, they did almost the full build during the lockdown and were incredibly tidy, polite, and respectful. We are absolutely over the moon with the loft conversion and extension, they delivered more or less on time and exactly on budget, and the tiny issue we’ve had since was fixed within a couple of days. Thoroughly recommended We had a full loft conversion done in October 2019 in a conservation area. The build went swiftly and Mindis was very accommodating with our requests. He helped realize our vision and took direction well. We had only one issue with a large customized window but it was more of an issue with the supplier. It was resolved by Mindis as quickly as possible. We also had to custom build a smaller wardrobe with the space we had, and Mindis was able to help find specially fitted hangers for us as well. All of his team were very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend a Builders Team.

I would strongly caution against using Builders Team. I engaged BT for a complete refurbishment of my 2 bedroom/2 bathroom flat in summer of 2022. The pictures speak for themselves, but below a non-exhaustive list of the issues that occurred during the initial project work and their unfortunately non-committal attempts to fix the issues thereafter. PART 1 (I am unable to post part 2 because of the word limitation) 1. Demolition work: • In week 1, the workers cut the intercom cable for the entire house meaning none of the other flats had functioning door bells. They were reinstate the cabling as it was and I had to engage a different company to do this. • I paid for a skip, but instead they initially kept the demolition waste in my bedroom with the added weight causing damage to my neighbour’s ceiling below. The reason they later gave was that they didn’t make allowance for a skip license. 2. Plumbing: • The heaters were not correctly installed and I had no heating during the first winter post completion (2022). • Both the shower and bathtub screens (from CP Hart) were incorrectly installed causing leaks, mould and damage. • The toilets weren’t properly affixed, causing them to move and surrounding tiles to crack. • Because of an insufficient flow rate in the pipes laid by BT, there is insufficient drainage from bathtub slow leaving soapy slime whenever a bath is taken (which now isn’t possible in any event because they haven’t reinstalled the bathtub). • The piping for the washing machine was laid incorrectly causing grey water to flow back into the machine (there is also smell and gurgling sounds coming from the sink). • The bath does a whistling sound when warm water is used. 3. Tiling: • The tiles were glued on (see pictures), cracking in various places, the grout is porous which combined caused black mould all around the bathtub and some in the shower area. 4. Electrics: • They installed extractor fans that have no ducting. I had a separate company review this and they identified the issue (along with mould in the ceiling) because BT had simply installed the extractor fan with no ducting. When installing the hob, they drilled a hole directly into the outside wall without insulating it in any way. Whenever the hob was used, it caused a plume of dust to scatter in the kitchen and was therefore unusable. • I have a designer lamp with dimming function. It’s been installed in such a way that the dimmer does not work. • One of the sockets they’ve installed is buzzing. I purchased qualitatively better sockets to replace the not functioning one they’ve bought but they have not attempted to fix it. 5. Floor: •At BTs request, I had the floor levelled by BT. The floor is not level- to solve for this they cut into most of the doors leaving a large gap while my wardrobe door is now visibly uneven. They offered to reimburse me for half of what I was charged thus admitting that the floor is not level; unremediably so. 6. Sound insulation: •I paid for sound installation for the floor and above my bedroom which has made no difference. 7. Joinery: •The kitchen units weren’t aligned and the joinery in the wardrobes is uneven. •1 door knob fell off immediately. 8. Project Management: •There was no supervision or substantive input from Ramas, who was supposedly managing the project. Instead, the work was led by someone wearing an ankle bracelet who clearly was out of his depth. I understand this person no longer works for Builders Team. •On a personal level, Ramas was aggressive, unreliable and unprofessional throughout.

Builders Team took down our old extension which had no foundations and rebuilt our dream open plan kitchen. They were thoroughly dedicated, communicative and friendly throughout the process and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was finished before Christmas (2021). They have since returned to rescue us from a botched project from another builder. We never should have considered using anyone else. 5*

2 years ago, Builders team successfully delivered a big building project for some friends of mine, including extension and full house/old cottage refurbishment in the Dulwich area. Following my friends' recommendation, I contacted Mantis and after a site visit/meeting, I received an initial proposal that did not differ much from the final plan for our newly acquired property: The plan was to build a 4x6m extension and refurbishing a 100y old house in the Wimbledon area, including kitchen, bathroom, utility room, plastering, carpentry, plumbing and electricity. Mantis was helpful at all times and specially during the preparation and planning period. Then, BT delivered in the agreed timeframe (4.5 months), which was extremely challenging, given the difficulties encountered with foundations in clay soils, with existing tree roots, and specially due to the fact of working in November, December and January during the most difficult time of the year. And I have to admit that I am impressed with their efficiency and commitment to plan. The agreed budget was clear, avoiding surprises, the scope was detailed enough so that it allowed good discussions eventually facilitating reaching agreements with Giedrius and Armin, their Project Managers, who helped smoothing the process throughout. I can say I am very satisfied with the work done, with their efficiency and commitment to programme and scope, doing what it says on the tin, or in this case the contract. I would like to thank Armin for his engagement during the last stages of the project to ensure a successful closure and making sure we were able to move on the agreed date, what we did, as this is always a very stressful moment of a process like this. I have no doubt whatsoever that I would work with Builders Team in the future if there is the opportunity to do so.

Builders Team, especially Project Manager Armin, worked with us in the capacity of project manager for A-Builders Team. from inception to completion (a period of roughly 10 months in 2022-2023). The project comprised, an ensuite loft extension, rear kitchen extension, extensive remodelling, timber decking and covered side return, complete new slate roof. Extensive Cedar shingle cladding and roofing. Detailed Planning Drawings were prepared for us by a RIBA Architect, with specification tender document/ scope of work. Engineer's drawings and full calculations were also supplied . In the ideal world we would have paid additional fees to the Architect to manage the build. Money was tight and we opted as clients to manage the build alongside Armin. Armin was easy to work with, punctual and things happened when he said they would. Armin and his builders were receptive and ably-skilled to accommodate our design vision, where there were ambiguities with drawings or decisions needing to be made during the build. Armin always made himself available for site meetings and telephone calls. Particularly impressive is the free-form tie-in of the new loft-staircase to undersides of the existing period plasterwork. This was impossible to draw or specify and full trust was placed in the hands of Armin and his team-they did not disappoint. They also made a lovely job of laying a reclaimed parquet floor and built a bespoke kitchen in solid Cherry timber (from drawings and from the ground up) to receive expensive granite work tops and sinks etc by others. Plumbing and electrical is also top notch. The project was completed on time and to budget and sign-off with Building Control promptly followed completion. We are very happy with the build. I would happily recommend Armin and his team to anyone wishing to improve their living spaces and add value to their property, in a timely fashion. R Frost, Leytonstone, East London

Had an amazing experience, working with Builders team and they team. Great communication from start to finish. Super professional and great execution! Builders team helped us build our first professional recording studio. The outcome was fantastic. It is well sound proofed and looks incredible.
