Deda and his team worked on our single story rear extension and they did it exceptionally! Everything was perfect and he made our vision come to life - if anything even better. Every step of the way he was communicating with us on what he would be working on, what his recommendations were and on what would and wouldn’t work. He was here every morning at 8am sharp, was careful, clean and he made sure to give us his best expert advice whenever we were unsure about something. He is definitely a perfectionist which is undoubtedly necessary when completing a project like this - there is nothing that I would change about my experience or the final outcome whatsoever. He was able to complete everything just in time for Christmas which was great and what we asked for from the start. I cannot recommend Deda and his team enough. They were a team who took on this project as if they were working on their own homes. Every decision he helped us make was with our best interest in mind which I cannot thank him enough for.

Deda and his team are exceptional. He renovated our bathroom, and we were impressed by his honesty, expertise, commitment to quality, punctuality and cleanliness. Throughout the process, he provided us with so much thoughtful advice. His approach of treating the property as his own is so rare; it translates into high standards and being cost-effective. The bathroom finish is beautiful. He also sourced some better value products on our behalf than we could have on our own. We are so grateful to have used his services. We highly recommend him and we hope he can complete future projects for us.

I really enjoyed working with Dede and his team. They laid new wood flooring for us (which looks great) and sorted out an area of damp. I really appreciated the time Dede took to advise us. He steered us away from doing things that would have cost an awful lot of money and probably wasn’t worth doing! It felt as though he just wanted to do the best for us. Thank you SO MUCH Dede (and team)!

I can't thank and praise Deda enough for the work he did on our kitchen extension. I would recommend him to anyone and very much hope to work with him again in the future. I found the main benefits of working with Deda as follows: 1) We had never previously done any major building works, and so needed someone who was willing to hold our hand through the process and be more of a partner than a contractor. Deda provided exactly this. He was always on hand to explain all the work in simple and clear terms, and there was never a stage where I felt confused or unsure about the build 2) Him and his team were incredibly punctual, courteous and friendly. They also took great care of our house, cleaning up every day and doing their absolute best to minimise disruption by being both resourceful and considerate 3) Deda was fantastic with our neighbours, keeping them informed and removing any and all of their concerns about disruption and mess 4) He was really helpful with suppliers that we needed to lead on (e.g. kitchen units, flooring), putting us in touch with the right people at the right time, such that a) we were able to get good prices on high-quality supplies and b) there were no delays during the project. He managed all his own suppliers (electricians, skip delivery and removal etc) brilliantly too, ensuring no delays or poor workmanship 5) Everything was delivered as quoted. There was only one surprise a few weeks into the build that could not have been anticipated by Deda, and I think can be considered as part and parcel of such works. In this instance, we found it really helpful to have used the architect that Deda has a long working relationship with and recommended to us, because together they were able to resolve the issue very quickly and professionally 6) Deda's mentality of treating the build as if it were his own home is immensely valuable, as he was able to make (but never push) recommendations about all the various project choices that one has to make Ultimately, we're thrilled with the end product and know that it's better for having had Deda complete the works. Meeting Deda and having seen the strength of his reviews convinced us to work with him, and I hope the length and detail of this review helps convince others to work with Deda in the future too.

Deda and his team (DPA Home Renovations) did a loft conversion and kitchen-diner for my wife and I in mid 2023 (we live in Addiscombe in Croydon). We found Deda through personal recommendations from two different local friends who had kitchen-diners built recently by him and his team, so already had confidence from their references and seeing his work in person. In summary, our experience was outstanding from the start of the process until the post-build period now. Some key points: 1) In the design and pricing phase, Deda very kindly came around several times to discuss the options and his estimates were very comprehensive and itemised each element of the works. He came in exactly on budget. 2) Deda and his team work on one big job at a time (unlike the design-and-build companies) so your works get done quickly. He and his team work very hard throughout the day and he is always on site taking the central role in the project to make sure things are done efficiently and correctly. 3) Naturally, there are decisions/ modifications that have to be made during the building process. Deda has a wealth of building experience to guide these and would always make sure we (the client) were always kept updated and involved in these, as and when needed. It felt like he treated our house like he was renovating his own, always looking to do things properly, keeping an eye for details, and making sure things were kept as clean and tidy as possible. Although I don't do renovations that often, I can't imagine it being more stress-free than with Deda and his team!
